Hello all my fancier's! How are you this wonderful tuesday afternoon! It's pretty gloomy outside here but not chilly. Weather like this makes me happy, like I could cuddle up in a blanket and drink warm cider. Days like these are truly (for me at least) the best of all.
So lets talk crafts, lets talk about how great it feels to work with your hands. I think it feels pretty awesome. Now the craft at hand, I have always loved the beads that hang in door ways. ALWAYS! I don't know why but I think they are really cool. But all the one's I have seen in stores or anything I haven't liked. I don't know why, but I don't. So I decided to make my own. I have FOR YEARS hoarded beads and buttons...I have not idea why. But now I have a reason to use them, I'll really excited for this project, but it's going to take a while.
This is how my closet area looks like now. Did I mention I live in a basement?
This is how I would like it to look. I KNOW I KNOW! lol but you get the idea, and that's all that matters. But first things first I had to move the bar further back in the closet. That was not as easy as I thought it would be.
You have no idea how hard it is to drill screws into this stuff. Whatever it is, something like plastic on plywood. Now to start beading the beads and buttons.
I know it's a bad picture, sorry about that. Anyway I'll be using a curtain rode to hang the beads. And that is that. So far only 3 stands made, I'll update you guys when it's complete.
So what do you guys think about beaded doorways?
