Happy Friday!!!! Fridays are seriously one of the best days of the week…… aside from Wednesday…
Anyway! So this lovely Friday I have a cookie recipe to share! Just in time for a St. Patricks Day Party this weekend?
I think so!
So if you need a sweet treat to bring to a party look no further! Also on a plus side this recipe is 100% Vegan. That's right vegan, and they almost have the texture of brownies. So think chocolatey, moist, sugary sweet vegan goodness. Also other side note these are probably the best cookies ever to crush the craving when it comes to that "time" of the month ladies.
Just throwing it out there.
So you can get the recipe here ---> Link
It's a really easy recipe to follow, I didn't have a food processor. So I just used a hand blender!
Luckily I had all the ingredients at home, including the raw sugar. Most people don't know, but white table sugar isn't vegan. You can find out why here ---> Link
I do try my best to decrease my intake of processed foods since I don't know what type of sugar is used, and that makes me a little nervous. So I'm happy when I can make my own food, so that I know what exactly is in it.
This batter was sooooo good! Afterward remember to put the batter in the fridge so that it gets all firm!
Okay in my defense I didn't know much about the origins of powdered sugars. I'm still learning, so don't judge me to hard.
But this sugar probably wasn't vegan, but with learning that! I learned how easy it is to make your own powdered sugar! ----> BAM SUGAR!
They came out so good! Super strong on sweetness though! But everyone at the office party loved them and was completely fooled! *Insert Sinister Laughter*
For St. Patty's Day coming up this weekend (March17th) I would suggest maybe putting some food coloring in the powered sugar to make them green! Or to the cookie batter it's self.
Have a great weekend everyone! :D
