Monthly Cleaning and Christmas and Promises

Trying to mark the beginning of the new year with hope and new possibilities. Wanting to start planning things more seriously, and making more manageable goals. This year will be the year I do better! I WILL BE BETTER!!!

And with that start I suggest to anyone wanting to new cleaning schedule to check Strawberry Mommycakes website for maintaining a clean home. LINK
She has a nice pretty FREE printable for anyone that wants to print it out. But for me.. I lack pretty colors in my printer so I wrote all the tasks down in my planner, it also ran off into my next year's planner. I'm going to try my hardest to keep to it! I'm going to try my hardest to not get distracted and not procrastinate! And not be lazy and unmotivated! I'm serious when I say I will try my best, this new year I will be better then this year. And I'm going to try my hardest to stick to that promise.
My planner is falling apart! Can't wait to use my new one!  :)
Christmas was lots of fun this year, but of course there were the ups and downs of the day.

Favorite part which is probably silly, but my Grandma gave my boyfriend his own present. It was a silly magnet thing with nuts and bots, just something fun to put on the desk. But in the 6 year's we've been dating he's never been seen as anything other then a attachment to me. Which isn't bad, but it bothered him. My grandma had her reasons, she has loads of girls as grandkids. So boyfriends tended to come and go, I totally get my grandma's logic. But this really made him happy, and in turn made me happy as well.

Least favorite part of the day, dad jabbing jokes at me for being a vegan (again). It wouldn't have bothered me as much, as it usually doesn't bother me. But it was while I was trying to make breakfast and then he decided to cook his bacon right at that time right next to my pan. I shielded my scrambled tofu of course, but getting spattered by bacon grease all on my arms and chest and then being joked with. Well.... lets just say it's could of gone way smoother.
(FYI : I've been vegan for 3-4 years now and the jokes never stop. If someone says it will get better, chances are they are right. But please understand the jokes NEVER stop and sometimes things only get a little better)

Now for some pictures! :D

Me, Tom (the boyfriend), and my lovely sister
My sister explaining the the Mitten Crate is to my dad
This was actually a really cool gift! So if you are anyone that loves your own state, I'm sure there is a box out there of you. BUT this is just for people that love Michigan or just want to support products made in the USA. It's like any other monthly box thing, except everything in it supports and comes from the makers in Michigan. Dad got popcorn and jerky, marshmallows and hot cocoa, spicy mustard and a couple other things. Check out there website --> Here

This is my crazy extended family! :P I love them all sooooo much!

There was lots of fun to by had with my extended family. I don't know how my cousin Jen can host christmas every year, but she does a really good job of it. The Lauren (in the picture) had her engagement picture put on a blanket. Super sweet idea and as you can see, she literally danced with joy! Little kids running around in super cute dresses and Jen's been trying to make me vegan options for all the family get togethers this year. Which really means a lot to me! Her husband even helped out and we learned Rachael Ray brand veggie broth has cheese in it. What the heck!??!?!
Tom and I watching all the excitement (also my sister got me this sweater! Super cute!)
Now I get to relax and tidy up a bit and then get all crazy again for NEW YEARS!!! I still have no idea what I'm taking to my friends party! GGGAAAHHHHHH!!! But I'll figure it out soon!

Hope you all had a Happy Festive Holiday! And HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
