Lasting Finish by Kate Lipstick Review

I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. 

Now lets get to the review.

So I received this lipstick from Influenster, I had no idea what color I would get. I got #9, which is a purplish/reddish color. And I love it! I’m a big bold red lip fan, so I was excited to try it out. 

This brand of lipstick is not cruelty free or vegan, so if you care about those things this is not the lipstick for you. Now lets try it on!

End result! SOOOOooo sexy!

I am not a everyday lip makeup wearer, but this lipstick smells like cherries… I mean it’s not a bad thing, but it did take me by surprise. The texture was very creamy and I felt it wasn’t drying at all. I liked that I could still rub my lips together a while after applying it and the lipstick not feel like it was peeling off. 

The down fall was that it could still get on your teeth, and will come off on to your drinking glass. Plus you’ll have to reapply after eating. But that’s all I have for the down side of it. Otherwise it’s a great lipstick. I would recommend this to a friend, that wasn’t a vegan. 

Now I do have to say the Rimmel London website is really cool! They have it so you can submit a photo and “try” on the make up before you buy it! That is such a great idea for a make up brand. So I tried it out. I submitted a photo of me…but I was also with my boyfriend and one of our other friends. I thought I would be able to slide the photo over to pick the face I wanted…. but it didn’t work like that. Instead it picked up my boyfriends face, so I had some fun. I suggest you try it out!

What I really liked about the photo thing was you can edit where the lipstick is applied to the photo. Making it so you can get a more realistic view on how the product will look on you! Amazing!
