My Review on Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs in Medium

I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.
Now lets get to the review.

First things first I’m a pale pale pale girl, with slight hues of pink and blue. I’m almost transparent, and I don’t tan…. I burn. I’m sure some of you are in that group. And since I don’t tan, I also don’t buy tanning lotions or anything to make my skin look tan. I did sign out for the Light color, but I can understand they probably ran out before they got to my box. No biggie, I’ll play along.

The difference is pretty crazy, I’m sure you can tell which one is the tan/no tan leg. Now I’m sure there’s person out there where that shade is awesome, but to me it was completely foreign to see on my own body and I didn’t like it. I felt like a oomph loompa, I felt it was that orange.

Some thing you can’t see in the picture, I was getting a little prickly on my legs (you know what I’m talking about). So when I went to rub the lotion in, it would catch on the little hairs and leave tiny streaks. I also didn’t feel this went on evenly, put a small amount on my ankles and knees (as instructed) and they were darker then my leg still! The feeling of this stuff made my leg feel dirty, like it was a layer of gross texture. I’m not sure if the lighter color would have been better, but I felt I would have needed to cover every inch of showing skin to be confident wearing this out in public.

The bottle didn’t say how long to let this set before getting dressed or anything. So I put my leg up on my other knee after a couple mins and the lotion just stained my knee. If anyone gets this product I would suggest doing this in your underwear.

On a good note, it does come off really easy with soap and water. It’s supposed to be water resistant, I didn’t try it with out soap. But I would assume it would still run a little bit. Also remember to wash your hands when you’re done, before you go around touching things.

Needless to say I would not recommend this product to anyone.
