Project Basement #1

Hello All and Happy Monday! There will be no Dreadful Mondays here, I refuse! Any who, I'm sure you all remember hearing about my current living situation.

Now lucky for all you folks you didn't see my living room area. Which had even more clutter in it then my bedroom did. That room is right outside my bedroom, I use it as a living room, office, tiny kitchen area. You'll see pictures of improvement later.

Step one in this Home Improvement project was to paint the walls. They have been pure white since I can remember, the color white is fine. But not over years, you could see the scratches, dust outlines from things that used to hang there, and so on and so forth. Since I just moved home, and was pretty much broke from moving, ending a lease that wasn't over and not working for a good 3 months. I didn't have any money. Lucky me, my dad had a big 5 gallon bucket with paint in it from his work. They all just dump extra paint into the bucket and then dispose of it later. I really didn't care what color it was, any color would have been better.

Lucky for me the mystery color was an off white color, I'm not a fan of off white or white. But since leaving art school, I'm becoming more accepting of white and it's cousin colors. So I thought it warmed up the room and I'm going to be working with this color to warm up my cold basement home.
