My 2016 February Workout

So for February I wanted something that won’t have me on my back, using my arms and won’t take that long. As last months events left me unmotivated and slightly depressed. I find when things like this happen it’s best (for me at least) to start back at square one. Nice and slow and easy. So while browsing my Pinterest page I found just the thing.

The first couple weeks were easy, I felt the standard beginners pain in my thighs. And after a while I could do 25 squats in a row no problem. After a while I started breaking up the numbers. I would do a set of 30 squats through out the day. And honestly I missed a day or two, but I would make up for it the next day.

Now during this time, I didn’t change my eating habits. Also February is a big month for my family. There are birthdays, and valentines day, and family events. So there was lots of cake, cookies, and drinking.

At the end of it all I only gained 2 ounces, and I hope it’s 2 ounces of pure muscle in my butt. Since I didn’t lose weight, I won’t say it was worthless. I do feel my backside did get toned and my thighs have this nice indent showing the muscle line. So weight loss 0, confidence booster 1.

Gearing up for next month.
