Maybelline Fit Me Foundation Review

I was given this product for free from Influenster  for testing purposes, I was not paid for this review. This review is my honest opinion.

122 Creamy Beige

Now I haven’t really worn foundation since high school, I stopped when I moved to Atlanta because it would just melt off. So this truly brought back memories of younger times.

So the first thing I notice was the color, I wasn’t going to except my perfect match from Influenster, paler people probably got to the survey before me. I understand, I’m not a monster. The shade is not going to stop me from testing out this product. So I do the scarface thing, and only put the foundation on half my face for comparison.

My face is pale and red, and I just starting using BB Cream. So I instantly noticed the thickness of the product. I just used my hands to smear it on my face, I don’t have a bender sponge or anything like that. Barbaric I know…

Since I’m used to VERY light coverage, it was cool to see how awesome the coverage was with this foundation. All the red spots gone, I might have to actually buy some blush if I use this. I liked that the foundation didn’t settle in the cracks/wrinkles in my face.

I got the Matte + Poreless because my face gets shinny and kinda gross. I can pull off a dewy look, but matte is hard to keep up. But this foundation was matte for almost the whole day! I wore it inside, outside, in a car with open windows, and it stayed matte till well into 8pm.

The only problems I could think of were that the coverage was great, but it seriously covered everything. I’m not used to that, I’m used to seeing my freckles and the redness in my cheeks. My face was one flat color, and chuck it up to my inexperience with coverup. But I won’t know how to add definition to my face, or where to start. But after I mixed a little of this foundation with my Pacifica BB Cream, I think I found something that might work. But if I wanted a heavier make up look I feel this foundation would work on it’s own.

The other thing was the color, it’s a little to dark for me. If I ever tanned up a bit, I feel this would work. I might actually go buy this foundation in a paler shade, just because I really liked the coverage and how I didn’t need to “powder” my nose every couple hours.

But if you go get this foundation, wash your hands after. I got this stuff all over my black shirt. Also it will rub off, so I should probably look into a setting spray or something.

If you're interested in some other reviews I've done for Influenster here's some good reads.
